Principles and benefits of Leading SAFe for compan (19th Dec 24 at 5:12pm UTC)Quote Reply
When we started implementing SAFe in our company, at first everything seemed quite confusing. Each department worked in its own way and we lacked overall coordination. Management decided to try the Leading SAFe approach to bring teams together and improve collaboration. We started with PI planning, but the first attempts looked like chaos. Eventually, as we started following clearer guidelines, things started to get better. But I still have questions: how to maximize the use of SAFe and how to convince employees of its benefits?

Interesting, we had a similar situation! We too had been looking for a way to improve team coordination for a long time until we tried SAFe. I decided to dive deeper into this topic and took the Leading SAFe Course. This course really helped me understand how to build teamwork, especially at the program management level. For example, I realized how important it is to involve people in the decision-making process - it immediately reduces resistance. Maybe it will help you too if you want more confidence in your approach.

I have not yet experienced the implementation of SAFe, but I have always been interested in how such large-scale methodologies help companies. As I understand it, the main thing is the transparency of processes and the fact that everyone can see the big picture. I think that with the right approach it can really increase efficiency, especially in large companies. Maybe in time we will also try to introduce something similar.
